UNSUNG FOLK REMEDIES: Foods that slim the waist
Raw Almonds: Celebrities eat one handful per day, as studies show it can decrease waist size by 14 percent. The monounsaturated oil it contains blocks fat absorption.
Salmon: Eat twice per week in four-ounce servings. Salmon is high in omega 3 fatty acids and helps to control glucose-insulin response in our bodies. Sugar control helps control weight.
Soy Milk: Dieters who use soy milk lose more mid-section weight than those who use other types of milk, says Fitness magazine.
Eggs: If your cholesterol is normal, one boiled egg per day can assist in weight loss.
Please consult your doctor if you are on any medication.
