The 2013 DUMBO Arts Festival is putting out a call for submission for its September event.
Hundreds of artists, poets, and performers will be on display throughout the neighborhood’s studios and streets for the massive event; 50 galleries and hundreds of programming partners have signed on to participate, ensuring that revelers will have a huge variety to choose from.
Application information can be found on the festivals website, www.dumboartsfestival.com. Submissions are $20 each and, along with having your art displayed, prizes – including a one-year lease at a studio in DUMBO’s prime real estate – are going to be given away.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 15.
