The Urban Meadow Community Garden and Mother Cabrini Playground was the place to be on Easter morning, as dozens of babes and toddlers enjoyed a Columbia Waterfront District tradition – the annual Spring Egg Hunt!
Organized by Garden volunteers, the fifth annual neighborhood egg-stravaganza saw kids crawling and ambling through the grass and flowers in search of colorfully decorated treasures to fill their homemade baskets. Snacks of cookies and pickles on sticks also abounded, along with games and general fun in the balmy, breezy weather.
