Construction on the Gowanus Expressway will require some night-time lane closures on the Gowanus Expressway near Exit 20 at 7th Avenue and 65th Street, said the state Department of Transportation.
The work will be performed on May 20-21, with rain dates of May 22-23. The lane closures will be performed as follows:
Monday, May 20:
- 10 p.m. to midnight — closing the far left lane
- Midnight to 2 a.m. — closing the left & center lanes
- 2 to 4 a.m. — open the left lane and close the center & right lanes
- 4 to 5 a.m. — open center lane and keep right lane closed if needed to finish roadside work
Tuesday, May 21:
- 10 p.m. to midnight — closing the far left lane
- Midnight to 2 a.m. — closing the left & center lanes
- 2 to 5 a.m. — open the left & center lanes and close the right lane
