Van Leeuwen Artisanal Ice Cream is finally getting on board the vegan ice cream bandwagon by introducing two vegan flavors: Bourbon & Tahitian Vanilla and Michel Cluizel Chocolate, which will be made with pure cocoa butter.
The flavors are already rolled out in all of their stores and will be in the trucks by next week.
Van Leeuwen has stores in Greenpoint (632 Manhattan Avenue, between Bedford and Nassau), Boerum Hill (81 Bergen Street, at Smith Street), and the East Village (48 1/2 East 7th Street).
