The annual summer-long outdoor photo exhibition, THE FENCE, is kicking off tonight! United Photo Industries, Photo District News (PDN), and Brooklyn Bridge Park, along with Flash Forward Festival are collaborating to bring the culture of the unique Brooklyn community to its inhabitants.
Join UPI and the Photoville crew for the unveiling and guided tour tonights at 6:30 p.m. in Brooklyn Bridge Park, by Jane’s Carousel. There will be mingling, tours, and best of all, ice cream! Don’t miss out on this monument to Brooklyn, and everything that makes it special.
The exhibit is 1000 feet long, and is displayed along Brooklyn Bridge Park in NYC. Photographers of all levels are eligible to submit their image series that capture the essence of “community” and fit into one of the competition categories of home, streets, people, creatures, and play. The photos will then be judged by an internationally renowned jury, those chosen will be on THE FENCE.
