An attempted bank robbery at a Chase Bank on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue H was foiled after the bank teller ignored the suspect’s demand note and walked away, said police.
The incident near Brooklyn College took place at 3:48 p.m. on Monday, August 26, when the suspect reportedly walked into the bank and handed the teller a money-demand note. After the teller left, though, the suspect apparently got nervous and fled on foot empty-handed.
The suspect is described as a muscular black male in his 40s, standing around 5’9″ to 5’10” tall, with medium complexion, a black baseball cap with red trim, a light blue Polo shirt, black shorts and white/black sneakers.
Police are also searching for the man, pictured here at left, who allegedly forcibly rubbed his penis against a 22-year-old woman on a crowded Brooklyn-bound 4-train during evening rush hour at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 5.
The man, described as a 50-something-year-old black man standing 5’10” tall and weighing around 250 pounds, is said to have fled at the Franklin Avenue stop, but not before the victim managed to snap a cell phone photo of him.
