Sign up for a food swap pen pal, through BK Swappers

Join the BK Swappers as they expand from their local swap at the Gridspace to Portland and DC.

The group had their most recent event on Sunday August 4, swapping strawberry vinegar, goat-butter caramel, hot chocolate jelly,lavender butter, cassis soda, apricot preserves, brandied peaches, rhubarb applesauce and much more.

They are joining up with the Portland Preservation Society and the DC Food Swap, and will provide those who are interested with a pen pal from one of the two groups. BK Swappers advises those interested to be mindful of what may not survive the mail trip; nothing with too much liquid and definitely nothing alcoholic.

The deadline to sign up is August 10 and swappers are encouraged to mail out their items by the end of August.
