The body of 41-year-old Vladislav Cheloudko was found in the water of Rockaway Inlet during the early evening of Sunday, October 6, and pulled out by the NYPD Harbor Unit at around 5:06 p.m.. CPR was performed and he was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, but he died shortly thereafter.
An investigation is ongoing into how Cheloudko, a resident of Kensington, ended up in the water.
Rockaway Inlet is located behind the Kingsborough Community College Marine Center at 2001 Oriental Boulevard.
