Autumn is here, so let the leaves fall–the book leaves, that is.
The Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) is holding its annual Great American Book Drive this Saturday, October 5, outside the Central Library branch at Grand Army Plaza. Book owners can bring gently-used books to donate, and book lovers can buy books for $1 each in turn. A portion of each sale will go towards BPL’s programming and collections, thanks to co-host Better World Books, which will also sell the donated books to readers all over the world.
The event is also a family affair, with a kids craft area on the plaza.
