To insure their well-being, we must keepallcandy and wrappers away; curious pets devour them. TheAmerican Veterinary Medical Associationstates that if xylitol (often found in sugar-free candies and gum) and chocolate are ingested, it can cause serious problems.

ASPCA ALERTSKEEP pets inside. Outdoor animals are vulnerable, ruthless people steal pets, causing them harm or death…KEEP costumes off pets. Many pets are stressed wearing garments and costumes. An IDis very important. KEEP masks OFF, they can block a pet’s vision, and interfere with breathing. Supervise your pet while he’s wearing a costume. Remove the costume quickly… KEEP Pumpkins out of reach of pets… eating too much of it can cause upset stomachs. In addition, candles in jack-o-lanterns can burn nosy pets or cause fires if knocked over.
