Tonight from 7-10 p.m., the Red Star Bar at 37 Greenpoint Avenue will be hosting the Big Brooklyn Holiday Toy Drive Collection Party and the price of admission is simple: bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more!
Anyone who brings a toy will not only be filling a local child’s holiday with cheer and joy, but will also be filling their belly with food and drink from a buffet and open bar. The party will also feature music and raffle prizes from local North Brooklyn businesses.
An alternate price of admission is $25, but the Big Brooklyn Holiday Toy Drive is all about the toys. Last year’s drive collected over 1,500 toys that were distributed to local kids whose families, for various reasons, don’t have the means to provide such a special holiday experience this year.
All donations go to Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz’s Best of Brooklyn Toy Drive and the Dr. Theodore A. Atlas Foundation.
