Basement fire on Bath Avenue

Firefighters responded to a basement fire at a two-story home at 1413 Bath Avenue on Tuesday morning, January 7 that resulted in no injuries, said fire officials.

Twelve units and 60 firefighters arrived at the house at 8:44 a.m. and had the fire under control by 9:14 a.m.

The fire is “not deemed suspicious,” said an FDNY spokesperson. However, a routine investigation is being conducted.
