Through March 31, shoppers at Macy’s Downtown Brooklyn store at 422 Fulton Street can use their own greenbacks to help support the continued greening of Prospect Park, which is one of 550 parks around the country selected as a recipient of Macy’s “Heart Your Park” Fundraising Program.
One hundred percent of donations of $1 or more—plus a matching donation from Macy’s, of up to $250,000—will go directly to the nonprofit Prospect Park Alliance’s efforts to maintain ballfields, trails, playgrounds and more.
The “Heart Your Park” program is part of Macy’s larger “Secret Garden” campaign that focuses on supporting parks, and is partnering with the National Recreation and Park Association.
