Thanks to the recent introduction of full color, The Home ReporterBrooklyn Spectator and Spectator News are better than ever. And, thanks to an increasing page count and a widening array of products, we’re bigger, too.

That’s why we’re reaching out to our loyal readership with an invitation, “Come Grow With Us.”

Right now, Brooklyn Media Group — the division of Schneps Communications that publishes the three papers, and also has a strong on-line presence as well as a burgeoning special events business — is looking to hire salespeople who are as excited about the possibilities as we are.

Highly motivated salespeople, to sell advertising in print and online, are needed to represent the company, parlaying their business connections and savvy into a thriving career.

Among the qualifications are a strong knowledge of Brooklyn and local businesses; the ability to do cold calls and work independently; excellent computer, written, verbal and presentation skills; and access to a car. Print/digital/event sales experience in the local market is preferred but not required.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join the largest privately-owned publisher of community newspapers throughout Brooklyn and Queens, working out of our Bay Ridge office. Compensation includes salary and commission.
