What do you think of the proposal to charge 10 cents for each paper or plastic bag at retail stores?

That sounds like it would be kind of expensive, but it’s a good idea in helping the environment. Something should be done to help out.

I’m torn on the issue. But it could turn out to be a lot of money when shopping, especially when the grocers double-bag purchases. It could be over 60 cents each time. I guess it wouldn’t be a good idea

Ten cents may be a little much. But I do see the value in what it does. And the tax would discourage people from using paper and plastic bags.

What’s the point of going after 10 cents a bag? I don’t agree with it. It all adds up to too much money. And it’s insignificant compared to the money stolen by corrupt politicians.
