Holistic health expo in Ridge a success

Nothing but good vibes and good health were on display at The Holistic Chamber of Commerce Brooklyn Branch’s Health and Wellness Expo on Thursday, June 24. Over 12 organizations of holistic practitioners were set up at the Bay Ridge Manor, 476 76th Street, encouraging and promoting good health, positive energy and smart tactics for having a successful life.“We look to give holistic practitioners and professionals a platform,” said Orly Amor, president of The Holistic Chamber of Commerce Manhattan Chapter. “We want to help people know what’s out there because education is key.”The Holistic Chamber of Commerce is a growing organization representing holistic professionals, practitioners, and businesses.Businesses that attended the event included SendOutCards, an independent distributor of online greeting cards; T. Barnes Skincare, an organic facial line that treats and heals the skin,; Jacqueline Rose Jewelry, a handmade jewelry line based on astrology and numerology; and Velaqua, a purifying water filter that creates alkaline water.Other businesses included A Woman Alive, Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics, Arbonne, Bay Ridge Holistic Healthcare, Ben Johnson Industries, BJ’s, Brooklyn Integrative Healthcare, doTERRA, Gal Designs, Huml Integrative Health, Look Good Feel Gorgeous, New York Life and The Green Spa & Wellness Center.Thanks to its participants, the Health and Wellness Expo provided short workshops that covered topics such as social media marketing, Feng Shui, spiritual marketing, and financial planning.Concluding the day and keeping the positive energy was the raffle giveaway, with a portion of the money collected to be donated to Reaching-Out Community Services Fight Against Hunger program.
