Muffin’s Pet Connection: Donny and Marie need a loving home

HEY JUDE: MEOOOWS, MEOOOWS: “We are THE Donny and Marie, 11-month-old BFF littermates. We will make you smile with delight. We have heard through the kitty cat purrvine, that we are gorgeous; our markings and personalities are one-of-a-kind, even better than the original singing duo.

“Since birth, we have bonded, going strong as inseparable playmates. We were found by the railroad track as kittens, neutered and spayed, vaccinated, tested negative, and are healthy.

“Donny is very happy and babyish, loves to lay across your chest and look straight into your eyes. He has a magnificent face; he is extraordinarily handsome – a real “looker.” A big boy, he is going to be a gentle giant, a long kitty with jet black tabby stripes on a shimmering white coat.

“Marie, a black and white tuxedo, will be half his size and she is quite a smart kitty. I am one of our many foster cats who can figure out how to make a cat door work (to the cat enclosure). I go in and out of that enclosure day and night. I am absolutely adorable, and surprised that I love being petted (I was rescued quite old for a kitten – at four months) but I am also very independent, and do not wish to go into your lap or be picked up – yet. However, you hear my purr purr purrs when petted.”

Both cats are still “middle school kids” and very active and still growing. They are delightful, deeply loving, older kittens who are going to be the apple of someone’s eye. We require a stable, financially secure, highly conscientious and loving home where the firm intention is to keep these kitties for their lifetime.

We love these cats and will wait only for a fabulous home. We need great references, a home visit and an application, but we charge no fee for adoption. We feel that a wonderful home is what matters. Email us and we will respond with an application and answer any questions you might have. Martha, 646-209-4429 or mwaltien@cs.com. Thanks…

Hello JUDE:” I am hoping to find the best possible home for my two apartment cats. They are

young, healthy and very lovable. But we are no longer able to care for them and I am not sure what we need to do to place them somewhere where they can be safe and happy. Our veterinarian recommended Muffin’s. Please advise. Call me at 415-203-7687. Thanks, Jesse.

“I am located in South Slope. My cats, are Jefferson (gray and white), male, 25 months, neutered, current with vaccinations — a curious and constant companion, he loves to snuggle – and Mister Peepers (orange and white), male, 20 months, neutered, current with vaccinations – healthy, very sweet, gentle, shy and full of love.”
