Excitement filled the St. Ephrem gym as students and their families gathered together for Family Game Night. This popular event took place on Friday, October 17, and the children had lots of fun.
Gazing around the room, a person would find lots of intent faces staring at their Bingo cards as the numbers were being called out, hoping to be the one to yell out “BINGO!” There was enjoyment had by all amidst the friendly competition of trying to be the first to win and to go up and claim their prize.
Raffles were also held wherein a lucky winner received a ‘Play date Basket’ for the younger kids, filled with games, candy and gift cards for the movies and frozen yogurt. The next basket offered was a ‘Teen Basket’ which contained many necessary items which older children could use, such as earphones, a calculator, pens, books, a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card and an American Eagle gift.
All had a great time and many are looking forward to the next Family Game Night, which will be held on January 23, 2015.
