The discussion will be moderated by writer and literary critic Liesl Schillinger.

Books will be for sale through Community Bookstore. Tickets are free but reservations are encouraged. Seating is first-come, first-served. For more information or to RSVP, visit www. www.bklynlibrary.org.

A BRONX TALE IN BROOKLYN

Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri will bring his critically-acclaimed one-man play “A Bronx Tale” to the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College on Sunday, November 23.

The compelling drama vividly depicts a young boy’s struggle to grow up in his Italian-American Bronx neighborhood, as he is torn between the values of an overbearing father and the influence of a local mobster.

Written and performed by Palminteri, the semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story inspired an iconic gangster film, enjoyed a successful Broadway run and will take the Brooklyn Center’s Walt Whitman Theater stage (2900 Campus Road) at 3 p.m.

For more information or to purchase tickets ($30-$40), visit www.brooklyncenter.org.
