THE LAW– ANIMALS ARE PROPERTY…like a table, chair, moveable goods. What can we, informed pet owners, do to change this archaic law to sentient beings?  France has proposed this change, respecting dogs no longer as personal property but as living beings.. Nearly 700,000 signed a petition against the 1804 law that categorized pets as “movable goods..”

When animals are abused, mutilated or killed, sadistic criminals MUST be held accountable for these horrendous acts of violence. Their punishment MUST fit the crime. if animal laws were stronger, maybe serial killers Jeffrey Dahmer, Albert DeSalvo, the “Boston Strangler” who killed 13 women, and Columbine High School students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, would NOT have begun their lives of crime by killing animals. There MUST BE strict laws for children who harm animals. To be continued… (http://bit.ly/1tluH2v)
