A man lost control of his 2008 Honda Accord LX just before 4 a.m. on Thursday, March 19 near 14th and Benson Avenues in Bensonhurst.
According to a source, the driver lost control of his car around 3:45 a.m., crashing into a parked 2010 Subaru Impreza and pushing it onto the sidewalk. The driver of the Honda then fled the scene.
When police from the 62nd Precinct arrived at the scene, they found the wrecked and abandoned Honda Accord and checked for the license plate number.
Both cars sustained heavy front-end damage as a result of the collision.
The driver is now wanted for a hit-and-run, and for leaving the scene of an accident.
