Cops seek attempted rapist in Bensonhurst

Cops are looking for the man they say tried to rape a woman in Bensonhurst on Wednesday, August 5.

According to police, at around 2:30 a.m., a 34-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 74th Street and 20th Avenue when the suspect – described as a light-skinned Hispanic man, 5’5” to 5’8”, with a thin build and dark shoulder length hair – allegedly grabbed her from behind and began to kiss her neck.

The victim resisted and the suspect fled without further incident.
