Man fatally stabbed following Bushwick house party: cops

An apparent dispute that began at a house party in Bushwick ended in bloodshed early on Sunday morning, according to police.

Michael Godoy, 23, of Evergreen Avenue was fatally stabbed in the chest at the corner of Weirfield Street and Knickerbocker Avenue at about 3:06 a.m.

Authorities said Godoy got into an argument with four unidentified black males at the party, which led to the stabbing at the intersection.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics rushed Godoy to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The investigation is ongoing.
