Thirty-eight-year-old Sunset resident Hui Chen was stabbed to death at 51st Street and Seventh Avenue on Monday, September 14 at approximately 9 p.m. within the confines of the 72nd Precinct, according to the NYPD.
Upon arrival, police officers observed that the victim had sustained multiple stab wounds to the torso. EMS also responded and removed him to Lutheran Medical Center in critical condition. The victim succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, September 15.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
