Attempted robbery ends in gunfire at Bensonhurst animal clinic

At least one shot was fired inside a Bensonhurst animal clinic on Thursday, October 1, within the confines of the 62nd Precinct, according to cops.

According to police, the incident took place during an attempted robbery at the Animal Clinic of Bensonhurst, 2249 65th Street, in the early evening.

Cops say the suspect is a white man who, at the time of the crime, was wearing a black mask and a black Northface jacket with the hood up.

A source said the shot hit a door inside the clinic.
