Former Met Lenny Dykstra to watch Game One at Ridge watering hole

Former New York Met Lenny Dykstra will be at Wicked Monk tonight to watch his former team take on the Kansas City Royals in Game One of the World Series, the Irish pub announced on Facebook yesterday.

The Mets signed Dykstra—a former Major League Baseball center fielder who played in the World Series as a Met in 1986 and as a Phillie in 1993—as a 13th round draft pick in 1981.

Game One of the series will begin at 8 p.m. on FOX.

Matt Harvey will be on the hill for the hometown team against Edinson Volquez.

Wicked Monk is located at 9510 Third Avenue in Bay Ridge.
