Sneak attack: Three suspects wanted for theft in Bensonhurst subway station

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying three teens wanted in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 29 inside the 62nd Street and New Utrecht Avenue subway station.

At approximately 9:26 p.m., the victim, a 16 year-old male, met with the suspects at the station, located within the confines of the 62nd Precinct, in order to purchase a pair of sneakers.

Upon meeting, cops say, the suspects attacked the victim, punching him and attempting to take his possessions. The victim fought back, and the suspects who fled the scene. The three suspects have been described as male blacks,  ranging in age from 17 to 19 years old and in height from 5’8″ to 5’9″.
