Bullets fly at Bushwick department store

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect, along with his female companion, wanted for a non-fatal shooting at a Bushwick store on Monday night.

According to police, the 20-year-old male victim was inside the Blue City department store, located at 452 Knickerbocker Ave., at about 6:20 p.m. when a verbal argument he was engaged in with the suspect — identified as a Hispanic male — turned violent.

It was reported that the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot the victim in the torso. The gunman and his female companion fled the location, authorities stated.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the call as EMS units transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
