Cops seek suspect in gunpoint robbery at Bay Ridge bank

A Bay Ridge bank was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.

According to cops, the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is on the lookout for the man they say made off with $3,029 from a TD Bank located at 8206 Fifth Avenue, within the confines of the 68th Precinct.

Sources say the suspect — described as a white man, anywhere from 5’10” to six feet tall and approximately 190 pounds — entered the branch at around 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 14. Once inside, he allegedly approached a bank teller and displayed the handle of a gun tucked into his waistband.

The suspect then verbally demanded money, and the teller complied.

The man was last seen wearing a tan wool hat, a striped long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
