Bandits get big bucks from Bushwick barber shop: NYPD

Two gun-toting crooks who trimmed the coffers at a Bushwick barber shop during an armed robbery Sunday morning remain at large, police reported.

Authorities said the heist occurred at 11:24 a.m. inside the salon located at 164 Irving Avenue.

According to police, the two suspects — one black male and one Hispanic male — entered the shop, then headed to a basement office and displayed firearms to three male employees.

The suspects proceeded to remove approximately $2,000 in cash as well as three cell phones before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to reports about the incident. There were no injuries reported.
