Man wanted for buying Burger King with stolen credit card

Police are searching for a man, they say, stole a 19-year-old’s credit card on Monday, December 7 and used it to purchase meals at Burger King later that day.

According to cops, the 19-year-old realized he was missing his wallet—containing two MetroCards, two banking cards and several forms of ID—sometime around noon inside of the Church Avenue F Train Station.

A few hours later, at around 3:48 p.m., an unidentified man used the 19-year-old’s credit card to make a $27.88 purchase at a Flatbush Avenue Burger King (971 Flatbush Avenue).

The suspect pictured in the surveillance photos is wearing a black hat, dark blue jacket and light colored pants.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
