A 68-year-old man was shot in the head at a Sunset Park Popeyes Monday night, said cops.
According to police, units responded at around 9:37 p.m. on Monday, December 7 to a 911 call of a man shot in front of the eatery – located at 6013 Seventh Avenue, within the confines of the 72nd Precinct.
Upon arrival, cops observed the man – later identified as Bensonhurst resident Yingguan Chen – with gunshot wounds to the head, torso and right arm.
He was transported to NYU Lutheran, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
