Two wanted for tying woman up, robbing Sunset Park store

A 38-year-old variety store employee was tied up and held at gunpoint on Thursday, December 17 inside of the Sunset Park business, cops say.

According to police, two unknown suspects, both men, entered the store—located at 4502 Sixth Avenue—at around 2:25 p.m., restrained the woman and flashed a gun at her before steeling cash and fleeing the scene.

Cops say that the first suspect—last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and brown boots—tied up the woman’s hands and feet with rope while the second suspect—wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, blue jeans and brown boots—displayed a silver gun and removed $800 from the register along with $13,000 found in a box.

The woman was not injured and police are searching for the suspects.
