Cops are looking to identify the man they say fired a gun in a fleeing man’s direction inside a Sunset Park apartment building last September, in the confines of the 72nd Precinct.
According to police, on Thursday, September 3, a man — described only by authorities as Hispanic — confronted a 25-year-old man inside the lobby of 5214 Sixth Avenue at around 1 a.m. After a brief struggle, the victim ran back into the apartment, prompting the suspect to fire one round in his direction, striking no one.
The suspect then fled on foot.
