Update: The deceased have been identified as 38-year-old Rosie Sanchez and 40-year-old Anderson Nunez.
A Sheepshead Bay couple was found dead inside of their Batchelder Street apartment on Sunday, January 3, seven days after their murder.
Several reports also claim that a 15-year-old girl, the woman’s daughter, is a suspect in the killings.
According to cops, officers responded to a call for a wellness check at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at 2364 Batchelder Street, apartment 5A and found a 38-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds and a 40-year-old man with gunshot and stab wounds all over his body inside.
The 15-year-old, who was reportedly located in Sunset Park, is being held in custody as a person of interest.
The incident has been labeled a homicide and the investigation is ongoing. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending family notification.
