Two crooks nab purse from woman on a Bushwick street

Detectives continue to search for a pair of bandits who assaulted a woman and stole her purse on a Bushwick street last month.

According to police, the two suspects approached the 45-year-old female victim from behind in front of 289 Bleecker Street, when they threw her to the ground and forcibly took her purse, which contained $600, at approximately 7:05 p.m. on December 27.

The suspects then fled towards Irving Avenue and Bleecker Street, law enforcement agents reported.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct reported no injuries as a result of this incident.

The first suspect is described as a male, white or Hispanic, in his mid-20s, standing approximately 5 foot 5 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and black sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a male, white or Hispanic, in his mid-20s, standing approximately 5 foot 5 inches tall, with long hair. He was last seen wearing a colored sweatshirt with a logo on the front, a baseball cap, black sweatpants and white sneakers.
