P.S. 160 recently held a College Awareness Day. College pennants decorated the halls, and older students researched various colleges and majors. Staff members spoke about their college experiences. Math groups created a large graph of the colleges that staff members attended and wrote math problems based on the information in the graph. Students read and responded to the book of the month, Mahalia Mouse Goes to College by John Lithgow. The entire school community enjoyed the day.
