Double trouble: Cops seek suspect in two-time “D” station robbery

Cops are looking to identify the man they say robbed the Ninth Avenue “D” subway station not once, but twice this year.

According to police, the suspect — described solely by authorities as a black man — used bolt cutters to cut a lock and enter a room within the station just before 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, and then removed a number of expensive power tools.

He is said to have done the same thing just before 4 p.m. on Friday, February 26.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, dark colored pants, a dark colored baseball cap, dark colored boots and an orange and yellow work vest.
