Police seek snowblower thieves

Police from the 61st Precinct are asking for the public’s help to identify two men associated with the theft of a snowblower on Tuesday, February 2nd.

Reports say the two suspects approached and broke into the location at approximately 11:30 p.m. Video surveillance of the incident shows one suspect backing a light colored pickup truck into a driveway while being guided in by the second suspect. Both individuals can then be seen loading the stolen snowblower onto the back of the truck, and then fleeing the scene.

Both individuals were seen wearing light colored sweatshirts and dark pants.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to called NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
