A 12-story, mixed-use building going up at 535 Fourth Avenue suffered a partial collapse on Sunday, April 3 due to high winds.
The building – under construction since February, 2014 – is located at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 14th Street.
The National Weather Service issued a high wings warning in the New York City area through 2 p.m. on Sunday, with gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour.
No injuries were reported, according to the FDNY, but streets surrounding the building were closed for some time.
According to reports, when complete, the 130,000-square-foot property will include 148 residential units, approximately 12,500-square-feet of retail and close to 70 parking spots.
