Family still searching for missing Borough Park mother, Bishop Kearney graduate

A young Borough Park mom has been missing for more than two weeks now.

Twenty-two-year-old Chelsea Cobo – who cops first said was last seen in the vicinity of 68th Street and Bay Parkway on Saturday, May 7 – is still missing, according to her mother, Rose, who contacted this paper on Tuesday, May 24 in an effort to further the search.

According to cops, Cobo left St. John Riverside Hospital in Yonkers on Friday, May 6 at around 1:30 p.m. and made her way to Bensonhurst where she was last seen.

However, according to an updated flier being posted throughout the borough by her mother, Cobo was last seen in the Sunset Park area.

She is described as 5’3″ tall, approximately 150 pounds, with a medium build, medium complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black glasses, a black jacket, a black sweater, white pants and brown Ugg boots. She was also seen wearing a silver necklace with a horn.

Cobo, who is a Bishop Kearney graduate, is also a new mother. Her 10-month-old baby boy is safe at home, according to her mother, who lives with her and the child.

The family is urging anyone with information to contact Detective Greer of the 66th Precinct.

Anyone with information is also asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish 1-888-57-74782).
