NYPD seeking perp linked to pocketbook theft at Bay Ridge bar

Cops are asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying a man wanted in connection with a bag theft at Bay Ridge watering hole the Lonestar Bar & Grill in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 2.

According to police, at around 3:35 a.m., a 34-year-old woman placed her bag on the table and walked away. While she was absent, the suspect picked up the purse, put it under his coat, and left the bar, 8703 Fifth Avenue, in the 68th Precinct, taking off in an unknown direction.

Police describe the male suspect as approximately 35 years old, around 5’7″ and 190 pounds, with long blonde hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket.
