Nearly 2,500 attendees and 100 business exhibitors came together at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for the 10th annual Trade Brooklyn Business-to-Business (B2B) Trade Show – an opportunity for business-savvy Brooklynites and other business-minded folk from across the greater metropolitan area to connect, network and learn from one another.
The event – hosted by Townsquare Expos, producer of several of the largest expo events in the Tri-State region – took place on Wednesday, April 13 and was full of energy, according to its organizers.
“Trade Brooklyn has grown alongside the borough of Brooklyn,” said Townsquare Expos Director Jonathan Levin. “The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Brooklyn, and our goal each year and with each show is to play an integral part in the business marketing and growth. Businesspeople meet here face to face and introduce their products and services. This allows their business to grow and thrive. We see the show as a true microcosm of the business community in Brooklyn.”
This year’s show included more than 20 seminars as well as an interactive breakfast, led by networking expert Scott Eisenberg, CEO and founder of Swap the Biz. Special guests included Matt Goerke, inventor of the Memory Switch Program, and New York State Department of Labor Acting Commissioner Roberta Reardon, among others.
For the first time this year, the Personal Branding Pavilion was on hand to talk to attendees about marketing strategies.
