Police seek two women connected to knifepoint robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two women wanted for questioning in connection to a knifepoint robbery that occurred on Sunday, May 29 in Gravesend.

According to police, at around 10:30 a.m., the pair approached a 37-year-old man near Cropsey Avenue and Bay 46th Street and demanded money from him. When the victim refused, an unidentified man – described as 5’6″ tall, 170 pounds with a Caesar cut, light complexion and possibly in his 20s – put him in a chokehold and flashed a knife at him.

The two women then reached into the victim’s pockets and removed his wallet, passport and approximately $300. The trio fled in unknown direction following the incident.

One of the female perps is described as in her 20s, approximately 5’5″ tall, 140 lbs, with straight hair and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a floral skirt, blue shirt, light sandals and a striped black and white sweater over her shoulders.

The second female perp, also described as in her 20s, is approximately 5’5″ tall, 140 lbs, with straight hair and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt under a dark colored short-sleeve shirt, gray shorts, black shoes and carrying a light colored purse.
