Military hero, “Dancing with the Stars” alum Noah Galloway to visit Ridge bookstore

Just in time for Independence Day, the BookMark Shoppe (8415 Third Avenue) has announced that former United States Army soldier, model and motivational speaker Noah Galloway will be stopping by the business later this summer.

He will pay a visit to the Bay Ridge bookstore on Monday, August 22 to sign copies of his new book, “Living with No Excuses.” The book, in which the military hero and beloved “Dancing with the Stars” alum shares his life story – and how losing both his arm and leg in combat forced him to relearn how to live, and live to the fullest — is slated for official release the day after the signing.

Only in-store purchased copies of the book will be signed, starting at 7 p.m. Pre-sale tickets – available here – include one copy of the book. All purchases are final and non-refundable.

Galloway — who was injured during the Iraq War, losing his left arm, below the elbow, and left leg, above the knee — was a contestant on season 20 of “Dancing with the Stars.” He and his partner, Sharna Burgess finished in third place.
