Suspect wanted for multiple robberies in Coney Island

A suspect is wanted for carrying out several robberies that occurred within the confines of the 60th Precinct on Wednesday, July 6 and Monday, July 18.

The first incident was reported by a a 25-year old man  who told police that the suspect approached him near Riegelmann Boardwalk and West 19th Street around 2:25 a.m., punched him in the face and stole his cell phone and headphones. The suspect fled eastbound on the Boardwalk.

A 53-year old woman told police of an occurrence with an individual they believe to be the same suspect on Monday, July 18 around 2:45 p.m. near Riegelman Boardwalk and West 25 Street. According to cops, the suspect pushed the victim to the ground, took her cellphone, and fled northbound on West 25th Street.

Cops estimate the suspect is 18-20 years old and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored jeans, and red sneakers.
