Cops say a 13-year-old girl was assaulted and robbed while walking at the northeast corner of Ridge Boulevard and 67th Street over the weekend.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Sunday August 28 at around 7:20 p.m. Police say her 49-year-old father witnessed an unknown man come up from behind her, grab her phone and push her to the ground while she resisted, trying to hold onto the phone.
The girl suffered cuts to her wrists and the perp fled with the phone in an unknown direction.
