A married couple had their car stolen after a burglar broke into their Dyker Heights home over the weekend.
According to police, the two were in separate rooms when the unknown perp entered the home — located near Bay Ridge Avenue and 13th Avenue — through an unlocked door on Saturday, September 10 at 1 p.m.
One of the victims, a 71-year-old man, told cops that he heard footsteps but thought it was his wife walking.
The perp made off with a laptop, nearly 10 credit cards and the keys to the victims’ Toyota Corolla, which the thief later drove off in.
