Crooks make off with $2,000 after holding Bay Ridge cell store up at gunpoint

Cops say that a 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman ran into a cellphone store at 74th Street and Third Avenue with weapons in hand and robbed the store of nearly $2,000 of merchandise on Thursday, September 29 at around 3:10 p.m.

According to police, the two headed straight for the rear storage room upon entering. The male crook showed employees a black handgun in his waistband and demanded that they stick their hands up and put their heads down.

The female perp broke the display case and stole several iPhones. The pair fled northbound on Third Avenue on foot.

No arrests have been made.
